Japanese Short Grain Rice
Put 2 cups(360ml) of rice in a pot, rinse 3-4 times and soak in water for 30 minutes.
Drain water in the pot, pour 2 cups of water(360ml) and cook over medium heat.
Bring it to a boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
Turn off the heat and leave it for 10 minutes with the lid on.
Open the lid and stir from the bottom gently.
Enjoy as it is or with natto, umeboshi, furikake!
If you have leftover, wrap one servings in cling wrap and keep them in the freezer.
