How To Create A Valentine Marshmallow Pine Cone Tree
I have this pine cone tree that I made. I am decorating it many different ways. This time I used marshmallows.
I started making my garland by cutting and threading a long piece of thread.
(This could also be called a Unicorn marshmallow garland!)
Keep adding marshmallows in a random pattern.
Here is how I tied off the end.
I wrapped the marshmallow garland around the tree, securing it with a U clip.
I must have seen these heart shaped marshmallows last year because they were exactly what I was imagining when I finally found them.
These marshmallows are so soft! I stuck a toothpick into it at an angle to secure it to the tree.
Mmmm, marshmallows galore!
I needed a topper, and I thought these Little Debbie cakes would do nicely.
But one would be too small, so I used two. I used a bamboo skewer trimmed to size and pushed it through both heart cakes.
Then I secured it to the top of my homemade pine cone tree.
Doesn't it look so cute?!
Here is a Patriotic version of my tree. 🙂
This Dried Yellow Rose version is one of my favorites.
Actually, this Christmas version is also a favorite. I can have many favorites, right?!
