How To Cut Cove Moulding For Wainscoting
How to elevate a basic wainscoting with cove moulding

Measure each side of the square. Each side cuts differently.

Bottom: flat side on the saw with the concave towards your fence.

Right side: flat edge on the saw and against the fence.

Flip to the right 45 and make your second cut.

Lay your pieces on the floor as you go and label each piece.

Top: 45 to the left, flat sides on the saw and fence with the concave facing you.

Swing to the right 45, make your cut on the outer edge of your mark.

Make your cut on the outer edge of your mark with your wood on the right of the saw.

Left side: 45 to the left with your wood on the left hand side of the saw.

Swing to the right 45, with your wood on the right. (Misspoke: cut on the outside of mark)

Ready to install!

After installing, fill holes and caulk seams.

Mark each piece for easier installation

Using a brad nailer, install cove moulding.

Paint and enjoy!
