How To Draw A Melting Snowman Using Watercolor Pencils
First, draw a loose, light snowman.
1
Use a yellow watercolor pencil to create a sun with rays.
2
Layer orange on sun.
3
Add a distant light green hill, put brown underneath.
4
Add water to the sun/sky area.
5
Use diff. shades of blue to snowman.
6
To find where to put the shadow, follow one of your rays.
7
Make sure your sky area is dry, then apply water to snowman and hill.
8
Let it dry completely before you add more pencils and black pen.
9
Time to add a carrot and more layers to shadow.
10
Add grass and mud.
11
Add water to shadow, mud, hills, and snowman, if needed.
12
You can leave as is, or add a puddle!
13
Finished!!! Welcome spring
