How To Finish Off And Weave In Ends
You need a finished crochet piece, yarn needle and scissors. I’m using the chunky newborn beanie.
1
Cut your last yarn tail, leaving about 6” to weave in.
2
Thread your yarn needle. Folding the end of the yarn tail helps it go through the eye of the needle without splitting.
3
Start in the same direction that you were crocheting: right to left. Thread needle under next stitch and to the other side.
4
If your work has an inside or back, weave in ends on this side. Weave needle through one layer of the stitch loop.
5
Keep weaving needle through stitches. I start by going down and away from the join or end.
6
Now keep changing directions. Try to go back and forth, up and down or make a square. You don’t want it to unravel.
7
Trim the end with scissors.
8
Now repeat those steps with the rest of your yarn tails.
