You need a finished crochet piece, yarn needle and scissors. I’m using the chunky newborn beanie.

Cut your last yarn tail, leaving about 6” to weave in.

Thread your yarn needle. Folding the end of the yarn tail helps it go through the eye of the needle without splitting.

Start in the same direction that you were crocheting: right to left. Thread needle under next stitch and to the other side.

If your work has an inside or back, weave in ends on this side. Weave needle through one layer of the stitch loop.

Keep weaving needle through stitches. I start by going down and away from the join or end.

Now keep changing directions. Try to go back and forth, up and down or make a square. You don’t want it to unravel.

Trim the end with scissors.
