How To Get Rid Of Mealybugs On House Plants
Regularly inspect your plants for critters and pests, checking stems and under the leaves
1
Mealybugs are pests that feed on plant juices and can cause harm to your plants
They are white, cottony insects often found in warmer growing climates
Neem oil is an insecticide, fungicide, and miticide
Mix 2 tbsp of neem oil extract with 1 gal of water and shake well. Add soap to help emulsify
2
Make sure to label your spray bottle!
3
Remove any mealybugs you see with a q-tip
4
You can dip the q-tip in neem oil solution or rubbing alcohol
5
Spray the entire plant down with the neem oil solution. Be sure to do it away from bright light
6
Repeat the treatment every few days until you no longer see pests
