How to layer Cricut infusible ink with iron-on vinyl
Use Cricut to cut the design on the infusible ink sheet with the ink side up and mirrored
1
Cut design on iron-on vinyl with the shiny side down and mirrored
2
Prepare your blank by removing lint and adding a layer of cardstock to avoid ink bleeding through
3
Start with the infusible ink design. Apply ink side down and secure with heat resistant tape.
4
Use the Cricut heat guide to determine the temperature and press time. Once the heat is applied, do not move the press until the time is complete.
5
Carefully remove the heat press without moving the design. Once the surface is completely cooled, remove the tape and transfer sheet.
6
Secure the iron-on vinyl design with heat resistant tape. Press according to Cricut heat guide instructions.
7
Allow the surface to completely cool before removing the transfer sheet
8
Enjoy your layered infusible ink and iron-on vinyl project!
