How To Make A French Knot
French knots are a little way to add a fun accent to a project!
1
You’ll need scissors, yarn needle, and yarn. Note: you can also use embroidery floss and a smaller needle too!
2
Cut a piece of yarn about 12 inches long,
3
Thread the needle with a tail,
4
Bring up the needle from the back to front pulling almost all the way through but leaving a couple of inches on the back,
5
Wrap yarn around the needle two times and close to the project as shown,
6
Still holding yarn the same way and without letting go, insert the needle back down into the project right next to where you brought the yarn up.
7
Slowly pull needle back down and a little knot will form!
8
You may need to practice a bit before you get the hang of it.
