You’ll need scissors, yarn needle, and yarn. Note: you can also use embroidery floss and a smaller needle too!

Cut a piece of yarn about 12 inches long,

Thread the needle with a tail,

Bring up the needle from the back to front pulling almost all the way through but leaving a couple of inches on the back,

Wrap yarn around the needle two times and close to the project as shown,

Still holding yarn the same way and without letting go, insert the needle back down into the project right next to where you brought the yarn up.

Slowly pull needle back down and a little knot will form!
