What you'll need
1 yard
Main Fabric
1/8 of a yard
Trim Fabric
1/4 of a yard
Cuff Fabric

Cut your fabrics out. Main = 27”x 40” Trim = 2”x 40” Cuff = 9”x 40”

Fold trim piece in half, WRONG sides together. Press.

Place trim piece on top of cuff piece, raw edges lined up, pin in place.

Place main fabric right side DOWN on top of pinned trim and cuff. Pin together.

At the bottom of main fabric, begin rolling up. Once small, pull cuff around and match up raw edges

Sew pinned layers together at 3/8”

Pull the main fabric out of your sewn rolled up “burrito”

Press fabric

Fold pillow case in half, WRONG sides together. Pin in place

Sew pinned edges at 1/4”

Pivot at the corner and continue stitching down the short edge.

Iron seams open then turn pillowcase WRONG sides out and iron seams together.

With wrong sides still out, stitch around the seam to encase it. (A French Seam)

Turn pillowcase right sides out and press.
