How To Make Canvas Boards With Cardboard
You need tile adhesive or wall compound,
A piece of cardboard,
Put tile adhesive on scraper, apply in different directions.

To add more texture, you can press down and pull up, then drag through to soften.

Let dry, add another coat, let dry and paint. Or.....
You can drip acrylic paint over surface and work in.

Let dry, add more paint and or topcoat.
I used Aqua finishing wax to make an abstract painting with this piece.

With this piece, I apply a primer, gesso, or any flat acrylic paint.

Now you are ready to create on your new canvas!
