How To Make Cornhole Bags
Cut two 7”x7” squares of cotton duck fabric.
1
Sew around perimeter with a 1/2” seam allowance, leaving a turn hole.
2
Sew around perimeter again, with a 1/4” seam allowance. (This reinforces the seam.)
3
Clip corners and get ready to turn right side out.
4
Using the open turn hole, turn the cornhole bag right side out.
5
Use a blunt object or your fingertip to help push out the corners.
6
Fill the cornhole bag with feed corn or synthetic fill. Bag should weigh 16oz.
7
Sew the turn hole closed with an invisible ladder stitch.
8
Your cornhole bag is complete!
You can also top stitch the bag closed, if you prefer.
Four cornhole bags make a set. Make 8 using two fabrics and you’re ready for game playing!
