Gather ingredients: sugar, butter, heavy cream, vanilla, salt, corn syrup

Place bowl over cooling rack and set aside

Prep pan for pouring and setting fudge (set aside)

Add sugar, cream, salt, and corn syrup to pot and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved

Bring to slow boil and heat until 240F or soft crack stage

Remove from heat and pour into pan with vanilla and butter (do not stir and do not use spoon or spatula)

When mixture has cooled to ~110F begin to beat until fudge loses its gloss

After beating, when fudge loses its gloss it’s ready!
