How To Make Pizza Bagels From Scratch
These pizza bagels are so yum! There’s no water in the dough, just tomato sauce, and they’re topped with cheese and pepperoni for max pizza vibes.
Combine bread flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast in the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix briefly to combine.

Add tomato sauce, oregano, and garlic powder to the center of the dry ingredients.

Mix until the dough comes together and no dry bits remain. This will take a several mins and you may need to add a tiny bit of water to help it out.

Once it comes together, add minced fresh basil and knead 2-3 minutes until the dough is smooth, elastic, and slightly tacky to the touch.

Shape dough into a ball, cover, and let rest 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Deflate the dough, divide it into 8 equal pieces. Shape them into rounds, rest 10 mins, then stretch them into bagel shapes. Cover and rest 10 mins.

Boil one minute, then flip and boil 30 seconds more. Remove to a lined sheet pan.

Use a round cutters to punch bagel shapes out of mozzarella slices. Top each bagel with 4 pepperonis and a slice of cheese.

Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake for 20 mins at 425F.
