How To Make Preserved Lemons
Wash and dry lemons very well

Cut off each end of the root and cut in half, then half again, keeping lemon in tact

Add 1 tablespoon of salt per lemon

Add 3-4 lemons per jar and push down. Top with lemon juice and close jars

Place jars on counter for 3 days then place in refrigerator for 2 weeks before using
