Prep mushrooms: Remove and chop stems, set aside caps.
Cook bacon until crispy.
Stir in diced onion and chopped mushrooms stems, then cook in butter until softened.
Take off the heat and stir through breadcrumbs, cheese and seasoning.
Fill mushroom caps and bake!
The perfect party appetizer!
