How to Make the Best Slow Cooker Brisket
Mix your sauce ingredients - beer, ketchup and cranberry sauce

Brown your sliced onions in a roasting pan or skillet big enough to fit the brisket

Turn heat to medium high and brown the meat on both sides

I cook my brisket fat side up and brown the fatty side first as well

Place the seared brisket on the onions and pour your sauce over the top

4 hours in and we are ready to add the vegetables

Add the veggies and set the timer for two more hours

You can see the veggies are cooking and now it's time to slice the brisket - before it's done!

So important to find the grain of the meat and cut across it so the meat is tender and not chewy

Add the sliced beef back into the slow cooker and let it cook for about one more hour
