How To Make Your DIY Soy Wax Candle

Gather all your tools and ingredients ( See my list and measurements below)

Create a double boiler by placing saucepan of water and a pitcher over the cooker then pour the wax

Let the wax melt completely bringing it to a temperature of 82 degrees centigrade

Set aside melted wax and immediately add essential oils or dried flowers of choice while still hot

Set aside wax to cool until it reaches 57 degrees centigrade
Whilst waiting for the wax to cool, prepare the mould by spraying it lightly for easy release

Pour the cooled wax into mould leaving 1/2 inch of room at the top and reserve small amount of wax

Insert the wick and centre it into the mould

Use skewers to hold wick in place

Set aside for candle to dry completely

Once candle is dry, remelt the remaining wax and top off and set aside for candle to dry completely

Trim wick to 1/4 inch and remove candle from mould (heat up for a couple of seconds for easy release

Viola! Your soy wax candle is ready!
