How to Paint a Recipe Card for Holiday Recipes
Gather your supplies.
1
We'll use a lot of water for the first layer, so remember to tape your edges. Use a spray bottle to mist the lower edges.
2
Tap a light layer of red watercolor paint into the water. Spread it around, but it doesn't have to be perfect. Mist again as needed.
3
Let it dry completely. Then start painting little red berries.
4
Leave a highlighted spot on some of the berries and vary the sizes as you paint.
5
Add a little bit of paint splatter to the whole recipe card.
6
While it's drying, do a practice run of your recipe with the title in calligraphy ...
7
and handwritten recipe.
8
I like to write a note about the recipe too.
9
When the watercolor is completely dry, write your recipe on the card ... And you're finished!
