Choose your colors. Let's go with a monochrome blue color palette.

Tape the edges of your paper. Mist water around the bottom and side. Wipe the extra water from the tape.

Tap your favorite blue (or color of choice) into the water. A large brush works best but any will do. Move the paint throughout with the brush.

Let it dry completely. This is what mine looked like dry. Love that bloom in the left corner, so I'll try to keep that when I paint the next layer.

Use a darker blue for the second layer. Make sure that beautiful bloom shows. Leave a few other open areas too.

While it's still wet, tap in an even darker blue to add some extra depth. Watch how it blends into the wet areas.

Let it dry completely before removing the tape.

Choose a lettering style to write "Thank you." I like to sketch my letters in pencil before going over them with a calligraphy pen.
