Before - old brown rocker. In need of a update. Let’s use Dixie Belle & Hokus Pokus decor transfers!
1
Clean well with White Lightning. Rinse and ready for paint!
2
Clear Boss to prevent any bleed through and help block odor.
3
Plan today? Dried Sage and a decor transfer from Hokus Pokus.
4
Paint two even coats of Dixie Belle Dried Sage. I used my flat medium brush.
5
Using a spray misting bottle filled with water helps eliminate brush strokes.
6
I want to have a distressed look. I used sand paper to lightly wear the edges.
7
Perfect. Ready for a transfer. Let’s dress this chair up!
8
To add age even further I added Voo Doo Gel Stain in Tobacco Road. Wiped on to darken edges.
9
Hokus Pokus Decor transfers are vibrant and large. They arrive in a tube with a application stick.
10
You can cut to size and place on your project. Wood, glass, plastic or furniture.
11
After finding the part you want to use. Place gently and remove backing. Tape can help hold down.
12
Remove the white backing and then gently burnish down the image. Peel back and the image is on!
13
I added to the seat as well.
14
Gorgeous! Farmhouse with a twist!
15
Seal the entire chair in Satin Clear Coat.
16
Adding Gold Gilding Wax to the edges and on the transfer for shine.
17
Amazing detail.
18
Stage and photograph.
19
Warm and inviting.
