How To Pipe A Two Color Buttercream Swirl
Spread the vanilla buttercream on a sheet of plastic wrap.
Place the chocolate buttercream next to the vanilla.
Use the plastic wrap to roll the buttercream into a “log” and tightly twist the ends.
Use kitchen scissors to cut one twisted end off.
Fit a piping bag with a star tip {I used the Wilton 1M} and place the cut end into the bag.
The piping bag is now prepared.
Start at the center and use constant pressure. Pipe a swirl around the cupcake layering the second swirl on top of the first to create height.
Continue piping until all the cupcakes are frosted. Top with sprinkles, if desired.
