Start by measuring and cutting out about 20” of binding tape. You’ll need a total of 4x 20” strips.

We’re going to start with the binding tape: each will be folded in half as we sew to make the straps

Sew each strip. I like to pause every once in a while to make sure it’s going smoothly!

Layout both 6x9” pieces of fabric. Pin on the corner between both pieces of fabric.

Sew around the edges of the fabric, leaving a small opening on one side. Avoid the tucked-in straps!

Fold in the opening, and carefully set pleats with pins on both sides.

Sew along the sides to set the pleats.
