Start by measuring and cutting out about 20” of binding tape. You’ll need a total of 4x 20” strips.
We’re going to start with the binding tape: each will be folded in half as we sew to make the straps
Sew each strip. I like to pause every once in a while to make sure it’s going smoothly!
Layout both 6x9” pieces of fabric. Pin on the corner between both pieces of fabric.
Sew around the edges of the fabric, leaving a small opening on one side. Avoid the tucked-in straps!
Fold in the opening, and carefully set pleats with pins on both sides.
Sew along the sides to set the pleats.
All done! Don’t forget to wear your mask over both your nose and mouth!
