How To Sew Pretend Felt Crackers For Kids Or Cat Toys!
Start with two felt squares, about 2”.
Sew the two squares together using the backstitch. Leave an opening on the last side.
For a kid’s play set, fill with poly-fil stuffing. For a cat toy, fill with catnip.
Sew up the opening, tie off the end and trim extra floss.
Add a single French knot in the center of the cracker. Pull the two ends tight in the back, tie a few knots, then trim extra.
Repeat a single French knot in each corner of the cracker.
If you made cat toys, remember swallowing strings can be dangerous for cats. Always monitor play time and put away toys when not in use.
DIY more felt food to complete the set.
