Old Jeans

Leather Strap (optional)

Antique Gold Button w/Screw Back
Grab a pair of old jeans you no longer wear.

Measure up from hem 15” and mark.

Cut straight across.

Turn inside out.

Sew across the opening with 1/2” seam allowance.

Cut away 1/2 of the seam allowance and pull leg apart so you can make a t-bottom.

Sew across both corners with 1” seam allowance.

Cut away 1/2 the corners’ seam allowance

Turn right side out.

Roll down 3-4 times to the bag length you prefer.

Mark location for button.

Punch a hole for the screw back.

Screw on the button.

Using the button as the criteria, determine where the strap needs to be placed & punch hole in strap

Mark the location of the back of the strap.

Stitch the strap to the back.

And you’re done!
