How To Use a Seed Starting Greenhouse Kit
Each seed starting kit has a tray, dome and pellets. I'm using a Jiffy Seed Starting Kit.
1
Add 1¹/²" of warm water to the tray
2
The pellets will start to absorb the water.
Pellets will grow 1 - 1¹/²" tall.
Drain excess water.
3
Carefully, peel back the netting on top.
4
Fluff peat with a fork or wood stick.
5
If you want to grow more than 1 plant in a tray, make sure to select seeds that germinate during similar time.
6
Plant 2-3 seeds on each pellet. Cover with a bit of the peat moss.
7
Add a label to know which plant is which.
8
Once you are done planting the seeds, put the dome on top.
9
Place your tray in warm location, out of direct sunlight. Allow seeds to germinate and remove dome after leaves appear.
