Instant Pot, Pot Roast Recipe
Saute a 4lb pot roast in 1 tbsp. Of oil in the instant pot until brown all sides.

Add 3 cups high-quality beef stock + 1 pkg onion soup mix. Stir to mix.

Lock the lid in place and cook 90 min on high pressure.

Quick- release the pressure at the end of the 90 minutes. Remove the pot roast.

Set aside the stock to make gravy. Use a gravy separator to easily get rid of the fat.

Melt 4 tbsp butter in a frying pan + 1/4 cup all-purpose flour & whisk together. Cook on medium.

Add 3 cups of the liquid from the instant pot. Whisk rapidly while adding the mixture.

When thickened, remove from heat & serve with the pot roast.

Carve pot roast.
