Instant Pot Split Pea Soup
Ingredients: split peas, olive oil, carrots, onion, celery, garlic, ham, ham bone, chicken broth, bay leaves, potatoes (optional), salt and pepper.

Set instant pot to sauté. Add oil, carrots, onion, and celery. Cook until onions are soft. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Turn instant pot off.

Add ham, ham bone, rinsed split peas, bay leaves and diced potatoes.

Stir in chicken broth.

Set instant pot to high pressure for 15 minutes and do a quick manual release.

Remove ham bone and let cool until able to touch.

Pick off ham from bone and stir into soup.
