Instapot Split Pea with Ham Soup
What you'll need

Dried Thyme

Carrots - Diced

Bay Leaves

Garlic - Crushed

Split Peas

Celery - Diced

Ham - Cubed

Chicken Broth
Get your veggies prepped

Get the rest of your ingredients ready

When your IP is hot, add the butter and garlic.

Saute your onions and ham

Deglaze with your chicken broth

Stir in your dried, rinsed peas, your two bay leaves, dried thyme, and pepper.

Put on the lid, set to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes.

When 15 mins has elapsed, quick release pressure and remove lid. Remove the bay leaves and add cayenne pepper if using and stir.
