Jamie & Orli’s Vanilla cupcakes
120g Plain Flour
140g Caster Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons
Baking Powder
A pinch
salt
40g
Unsalted Butter
1 Egg
120ml Whole Milk
1/4 Teaspoon Pure vanilla Extract
Vanilla Frosting
Food Colouring Of Your Choice (for Icing)
Sprinkles To Decorate!
Add butter & sugar

Mix together until you have a sandy consistency

(You can ask for help if you need!)

Add flour, baking powder & salt

Mix it all together!

Gradually add half the milk and mix until the milk is just incorporated

Whisk egg, vanilla & remaining milk together separately

Add to the flour mixture and mix for a few minutes until smooth

Spoon mixture into paper cases until 2/3 full

Lick the bowl!

Bake for 20-25 mins, or until golden brown

Let your cupcakes cool down

Make your icing (we like buttercream!)
