Japanese Natto Egg Toast
2 slices White bread 1 Natto(50g/1.8oz) (use the attached natto sauce) 2 Eggs 1 Tbsp Parsley 1 Tbsp Mayonnaise Salt and pepper to taste
Chop parsley : Finely chop the parsley.
Make boiled eggs : Put eggs and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and cook for 10 mins, drain the water and add cold water and ice.
Mix natto : Add the natto sauce and mix natto.
Mash eggs : Peel the eggs, mash them in a bowl.
Season eggs : Season with salt and pepper, mayonnaise and add parsley.
Combine ingredients : Spread boiled eggs and natto on bread and add some mayonnaise.
Toast the bread : Bake in a toaster oven(I use a fish grill) until it turns brown (about 5-7 minutes).
