Add Soaked Chana Dal, Ginger, Cumin, Crushed Pepper, Curry & Coriander Leaves into the Idli Batter

Take a few Steel Tumblers & Grease them well with Oil

Pour the batter into them

In a large pot, add water , put a trivet inside

Place the Steel Tumblers inside

Cover with a lid & steam for 20 minutes

After 15 minutes, turn off the heat & carefully remove the steel tumblers & let them cool down

After 10 minutes, unmould them

Make sure the Idlis have cooled down considerably before unmoulding

Serve with Coconut Chutney
