Prepare your ingredients before you begin. Preheat oven to 350F.
Add all of the ingredients except for the barbecue sauce to a large bowl.
Mix gently until just combined.
Transfer to a baking dish/sheet (or a loaf pan) and form into a loaf shape.
Baste with half the barbecue sauce. Bake 1 hour, re-basting halfway through, or until temp is 160F.
Let the loaf rest at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
