Wash and clean Urad dal. Soak in enough water for about 6 hours or overnight. Keep it aside.

For chicken curry, heat oil and add whole garam masala.

Add Onions and sauté till light brown.

Add the turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Add in the chicken pieces, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add red chili powder, coriander powder,salt and garam masala powder.

Mix well and close the lid. Cook for 6-8 minutes.

Now add the yogurt, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes uncovered.

Add warm water, mix well and cook covered for 20-25 minutes or till the chicken is cooked.

Add lime juice, mix well and garnish with coriander leaves. It’s ready to serve!

Drain the water from soaked dal& blend into a smooth paste.Add onions,baking soda,salt,curry leaves.

Flatten a small ball of batter on a wet tissue, make a hole in the center&gently drop it in hot oil.

Deep fry them until both sides of the vada turn into golden color

Drain them on a tissue paper to remove excess oil. Serve hot with spicy chicken curry.
