Before. Missing trim and moulds.
1
I sanded the piece with 220 grit and top with 80 grit.
2
Painted the base in 2 coats of Dixie Belle BOSS (clear)
3
I added new moulds from woodubend
4
I started painting with a base coat of Dixie Belle cotton.
5
I applied the second coat of Dixie Belle Dried Sage in random directions layering over cotton.
6
Once it dried, I distress it with 80 grit, letting cotton show through dried sage.
7
Finally I sealed it with Dixie Belle clear coat.
8
I put this transfer on the bare wood top and sealed in Dixie Belle Gator Hide (video on YouTube).
9
For the moulds, I used redesign with Prima decor wax and highlighted them.
10
Stenciled the drawers side in Redesign with Prima stencil Distressed Wall (video on YouTube)
11
I also painted the hardware to go with the unique look of this vanity. (Separate video on YouTube)
