Let’s Make Chicken Marsala Pizza Sauce
Cook sliced baby Bella mushrooms in butter until soft and wilted.

This may take several minutes — don’t worry! Just keep stirring. When done, remove to a blender (but don’t blend them yet!)
Cook shallots and garlic in the same pan. Add flour and stir until cooked, approx 1 min.

Add Marsala and chicken stock and bring to a boil, stirring to scrape up browned bits and whisking frequently until the mixture reduces by half.

Add shallots and Marsala broth mixture to mushrooms in blender and pulverize until smooth.

When the sauce coats the back of a spoon or spatula it’s ready.

Use immediately or transfer to airtight container and refrigerate or freeze.
