Lightweight Delicious Pastry
What you'll need
4g
Instant Yeast
Pinch
Salt
40g
Butter
20ml
Warm Water
150
Milk
3 cups
Flour
20g
Vegetable Oil
1
Egg
Warm Water
Sugar
Mix warm water with instant yeast, set it aside
To the hot milk add butter and sugar, let it melt
In mixing bowl sift the flour, add salt, milk, yeast, one egg and vegetable oil
Start making the dough
You can use mixer or your hand whatever way you prefer
Work with the dough till it’s slightly sticky. Cover and keep in the warm place for 1 hour
After 1 hour, work on dough just a bit and round it again. Keep it covered for another 30 min
After that, make equal balls. That is the way I did it :)
Round each dough ball, cover and set aside for 15 min
Now you are ready to make pastry. You can use any sweet filling. I used apricot jam.
Bake for 30 min or till the top is brown in 350• oven
