Magic Circle That Stays Closed
Hold yarn behind two fingers and wrap around to front.

Hold tail and wrap yarn around fingers again.

Wrap one last time.

Put hook under first two strands and pull 3rd strand under both. Twist hook to turn loop.

Wrap yarn around hook and pull through loop on hook. (Makes a ch 1)

Remove fingers from loop.

Sc into magic circle.

Sc into magic circle as many times as pattern calls for.

Pull on tail to find out which strand gets shorter. Pull that strand till circle closes.

Now pull tail till the second strand is pulled tight. Done!
