Make A Multi-Layer HTV Shirt
Locate the file in your images and insert on your canvas. Resize and select “make it.”
1
In your “mats” view, be sure to mirror each mat if you are making an iron on.
2
Select the Cricut machine you are using.
3
Choose your material. Here I chose Everyday Iron On.
4
Place your iron on sheet face down (shiny side down) on your mat and follow the prompts to cut.
5
Weed your design by removing the excess material using your weeding tool.
6
Preheat your shirt for a few seconds. Use the Cricut Heat Guide to choose the time and temperature.
7
Find the center of your shirt and the middle of your design. Place your design on your shirt.
8
Press your first layer for just a few seconds. Do not press for entire time. Remove plastic sheet.
9
Line up your next layer, place a sheet of parchment paper over, and press for only a few seconds.
10
Remove the carrier sheet and continue by applying all other layers.
11
Be sure that none of your carrier sheets overlap with your iron on.
12
On the final layer, press for the entire length of time. Flip garment over and press again.
