Grab some pretty origami paper. Paper size depends on your project. I used 6x6.

Fold the origami paper in half with the “right” side facing out. Make sure to do a strong crease.

Open up the paper. You can see the first crease. You will use this as a guideline in later steps.

Fold the paper in half on the other side to create a second crease.

Fold the top corner toward the center crease.

Fold the bottom corner to the middle of the top edge.

Take the bottom right corner & fold to meet the top center point at the midline.

Take the bottom left corner & fold it to meet the top center point at the midline.

Turn the heart over to finish the heart shape.

Tuck the left and right points in toward the center.

Tuck top points in toward center. The points should barely touch top of folded paper.
