Mix equal parts resin.
1
Add colorant to your resin to tint your base.
2
Pour resin in your molds. Once poured you can hit with heat to pop any bubbles. Let cure.
3
Drop some ink and spread throughout the area you want it. I start with my lightest color first.
4
Next I add my darker color. Push the ink a bit with your sponge to form a dark line in your marble.
5
Continue pushing your ink till you get the desired look.
6
Don’t forget to color the edges. Let dry completely before adding your foil in the next step.
7
You can lightly spritz with 70% alcohol to give it more depth
8
Using a silicone brush paint your QC around the edges and add your foil.
9
Lightly pat the foil and add more to any areas you may have missed.
10
Once dry (I usually let dry overnight) remove the excess foil with your finger or a stiff brush.
11
Make sure to clean the backside of your piece as well.
12
Wipe any loose foil off and mix 3 ml each part resin.
13
Add your resin to cover the foil pieces.
14
Using a gloved finger coat the edges with a small amount of resin. You don’t want it to drip.
15
Smooth your top coat back out and lightly torch.
16
Cover your piece with a large dixie cup. To prevent lint or dust. Let your piece cure completely.
17
Grab your phone grip and lightly sand to give some grip for your resin to adhere to.
18
Mix 2 ml each part resin and apply to your geode and your grip.
19
Squish your phone grip down on your geode and set aside to cure.
20
Once cured you are ready to add it to your phone case and enjoy.
