Marinated Flank Steak with Chimichurri
Flank steak marinade: soy sauce, oil, chopped garlic, honey, lemon juice, fresh oregano, red pepper flakes, & Worcestershire sauce
Take a fork to the flank steak & poke holes a few times to allow the marinade to penetrate deeply into the thick cut of steak
Marinate the flank steak in the refrigerator overnight or minimum 2 hours
Make Chimichurri: fresh cilantro, basil (or parsley), minced garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, Fresno Chile, squeeze of lemon
Preheat grill at 450F. Cook flank steak 4-6min each side (130F-135F for medium rare). Allow to rest 10 min before cutting.
