Melt butter and add shallots and garlic and cook until softened

Once they are cooked down add your kale and cook until softened & wilted, stirring occasionally

While kale is cooking -melt remaining butter in separate pan and add the mushrooms

and chili flakes and cook until tender

Add soy sauce and cook one more minute until it’s just about all soaked into the mushrooms and set aside

Once kale is wilted add wine and cook off until mostly reduced

Add miso paste and stir in the cream and cook until thickened adding a little more cream if needed

Season with salt and pepper, remembering that the mushrooms will be adding some saltiness too

Transfer to serving plate and top with mushrooms and serve right away
