My Easy Banana Bread Recipe

All Purpose flour
1 tsp
Baking Soda (Bicarbonate Of Soda)
1/4 tsp
Salt
110g
Melted Butter
150g
Brown Sugar

Eggs

Overripe Bananas
60g
Plain Yoghurt
100g
Chocolate Chips (dark + milk)
Gather and measure all ingredients. Mash bananas using a fork.

In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients...

In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the mashed bananas.

Add the yoghurt and melted butter and whisk everything well

Add the wet ingredients into the dry and gently fold to combine. Do not overmix!

Fold in your add-ons (chocolate chips, nuts)... only just to distribute evenly.

Scoop the batter into the prepared tin and gently spread out to level it.

Bake in the preheated oven at 170C/325F/Gas 3 for 60-65 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Leave to cool in tin for 10 minutes then onto the cooling rack.

Tip: Leave until next day, storing in an airtight container at room temperature. Serve slightly warmed with some butter.
