My Moms Breakfast Meatballs
Start with 3 lbs. of hamburger & 3 lbs. of breakfast sausage

Add 3 lbs of breakfast sausage

Measure in 4 tablespoons of salt

Add 2 tablespoons of pepper

Add 1 tablespoon of granulated garlic (not garlic salt)

Get a large pot and fill half way with water

Scoop and roll all the meatballs and place in pot

Make sure there is enough water to cover

Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for at least one hour

Once cooked, store meatballs in pot overnight in fridge so fat rises to top.

The next morning skim off fat (the hard white stuff) and warm the broth and meatballs

Depending on size of pot and amount of water broth may need more water, so adjust at this point to your taste

While meatballs are warming up bake (or heat up)your favorite rolls

Serve with plenty of broth and dip rolls into broth!

Meatballs in broth can be stored in fridge for up to a week, or in freezer for 3 months
