No Chill Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies
Add granulated and brown sugars to melted butter and stir until fully incorporated. It may take a couple of minutes.
Add one large egg.
Add vanilla extract.
Stir until the mixture is smooth.
Add baking soda and kosher salt.
Stir until fully combined.
Add all-purpose flour.
Add malted milk powder.
Stir to combine until a few streaks of flour remain.
Add the chocolate chips and chopped chocolate.
Stir in the chocolate until no flour is showing.
Grab a size 30 scoop {about 2 tablespoons} and a parchment lined baking sheet.
Scoop cookie dough onto the pan, leaving about 2 inches between the cookies.
Take a few extra pieces of chopped chocolate and press into the tops of the cookies. Bake for 10-14 minutes.
Use a biscuit cutter to lightly swirl around each cookie {helps to make them nice and round} and then sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired.
