No-Fail All Butter Pie Crust

Measure 2 ½ cups all purpose flour

Add 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp salt and mix to combine

Add 1 cup (2 sticks) cubed unsalted butter chilled and mix until it resembles coarse meal

Add 2 tbsp of ice water (5-6 tbsp total) at a time and stop when dough holds it shape

Divide the dough into two pieces and wrap with plastic

Flatten the dough to remove any air pockets and make two disks, chill the dough for at least 1 hour
