Ohiopyle State Park, in southwestern Pennsylvania, is home to several gorgeous landforms.
The most popular of which may be the Ohiopyle Falls. The 20 foot waterfall is the highest point among these rapids in the Youghiogheny River.
There's an easily accessible observation deck that overlooks the Falls and this bridge.
Cross the bridge to get a different vantage point of the river and its rapids.
Hike along the river to find some of the best viewing spots! Although it's not a difficult hike, the terrain is rocky so take caution.
Bring your camera to take lots of pictures! The rocky river is full of photo ops.
Not too far away, you'll find Cucumber Falls. Close parking spots are hard to find if the weather is good so be prepared to walk a bit to visit.
Since this is more of a creek than a river, you can definitely try rock hopping. The rocks are slippery so be careful!
If you keep walking past the waterfall, you'll come to the river. With fewer crowds, it's a peaceful view!
Make sure to visit Baughman Rock Overlook! This view is quite breath-taking and one of the quieter places in the park.
You'll find all this and more if you make the trip to Ohiopyle!
