Orange Cranberry Irish Soda Bread
Preheat the oven to 375 F. Add 2 cups flour to a mixing bowl.

Add 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoons baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Add 1/2 cup raisins or cranberries and the zest of 1 orange.

Add 1/4 cup sugar.

Add 2/3 cup buttermilk and stir to combine. Use your hands to create a cohesive dough.

Form the dough into a circle on a parchment lined baking sheet. Cut an “x” on the top of the dough.

Brush with buttermilk and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon raw sugar. Bake at 375 F for 20-25 minutes.
