Orange Dijon Oven Roasted Chicken Legs
add shallot, garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, orange juice, extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt and pepper to a large resealable bag

add chicken legs to the bag

seal the bag and give it a good squish to coat all the chicken ~ marinate for about 1 hour

remove the chicken from the bag and place on a rack in a foil lined and rimmed baking sheet

bake for 20 minutes at 425 degrees F ~ flip over and cook another 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees F

don’t throw out the marinade ~ boil it to make a sauce for the chicken

add the marinade to a small pot, add honey and boil for 3-5 minutes

boiling the marinade kills any bacteria and intensifies the flavor of the syrupy sauce

drizzle the sauce over the chicken

sprinkle with parsley
