Oven Roasted Chickpeas

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F

Drain and rinse chickpeas

Shake off excess water and allow the garbanzo beans to dry

Pour peas on a layer paper towel - lay another sheet of paper towel on top and gently roll

Pick off the skins that may have peeled off

Transfer the chickpeas to a parchment lined baking sheet

1st Bake for 20 minutes

Set a timer for 20 minutes

Transfer chickpeas to a bowl, add olive oil, salt and spices and stir

Pour spiced peas back on lined baking sheet

Bake for 5 mores minutes 400 degrees F

Check on them often to be sure they don’t burn in this last step

Allow them to cool and enjoy spicy roasted chickpeas as a snack or in a salad or bowl
